What About Fees?

 

Pledge was designed with generosity in mind. Donors can choose to cover processing costs, and when tips are enabled, credit card fees are waived for donations of $1,000 or less. If tips aren’t enabled, a 5% platform fee applies in addition to standard processing.

 

Here’s the current breakdown:

 

• Credit Card: 2.9% + $0.30 (waived up to $1K with tips)

• ACH / Bank Transfer: 0.8% (capped at $5)

• PayPal and Venmo: 2.9% + $0.40

• Apple and Google Pay: 2.9% + $0.30

• Cryptocurrency: ~3% (network fees included)

• Stock Donations: 3%

• DAFpay (Donor-Advised Funds): 3%

• Offline (check/wire): 5%

 

Note: There’s a $5 monthly disbursement fee for nonprofits to receive funds.
